The Spelling Bee Is Back!
On May 7, 2026, the Literacy Council of South Temiskaming will be hosting its annual Hilda Fowke Memorial Spelling Bee & Dinner at the Haileybury Legion. Our annual Spelling Bee is not only one of our more successful fundraising initiatives; it is also our most entertaining event of public awareness for adult skills development.

We are looking for teams of three to participate and would certainly like to see you this year! The Bee will begin at 5:30 P.M. Along with the competition and silent auction, we will be serving dinner, so invite your friends to join in the fun!

We will accept ten (10) teams, so please hurry to sign up. The deadline for team registration is April 24, 2026.

If you are interested in participating or want more information, please contact us at (705) 647-4040 or literacycst@gmail.com.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to your support!
